The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia is partnering with Breezer for a Women's Mountain Bike Clinic in the Wissahickon with the legendary Jacquie Phelan!
Jacquie is a true mountain bike goddess -- an inductee to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame, with an unparallelled racing history and a passion for getting more women on mountain bikes. Founder of the WOMBATS (Women's Mountain Biking and Tea Society), she has led countless workshops throughout her life, inspiring and teaching women about the joys of off-road riding.
Please bring a mountain bike (that has been recently checked for safety) a helmet, and a water bottle. Tea and pastries will be provided.
This event is open to ALL skill levels -- beginners welcome!
This event is part of the Bicycle Coalition's new "Women Bike PHL" campaign, aimed at getting more women on bikes in Philadelphia.
It is sponsored by Breezer Bikes, the world's first and oldest mountain bike brand.

Heading north on Henry Ave, the park is a right turn at the intersection of Henry and Livezey (There is a red light there). Ample parking is available. We will be meeting at the pavillion, and beginning the workshop promptly at 1 PM.
